There are many terms used for ISOLATION during this pandemic time. The most frequent terms that are being confused are QUARANTINE and ISOLATION.  In medical terms, QUARANTINE may refer to someone has been exposed to a medical issue and may be asked to self-quarantine by staying at home or a certain place under strict guidelines. ISOLATION is define as to individuals who may contract in any situation or exposure to certain issues such as disease and will be put into isolation either in a hospital or at home.
